Lifted inky licorice bouquet with a “tar and roses” palate. Lots of tannins and an acid finish. Great potential.

A huge wine. “Could take a decade to soften,” according to one judge. Plenty of spicy berries on the nose and a complexity of oak and berry flavours. Has a long life ahead of it!

A lovely wine – soft, uncomplicated and very enjoyable. Loads of floral fruit, lovely oak tannins and some leathery elements adding complexity.

Super peppery hit to the cherry nose and more pepper on the fleshy fruit palate.

Inviting minty briary/chocolate bouquet. Good weight of fruit on the soft palate with some grainy tannins.

Delicate but pleasing smelling like a herb garden with fine licorice/black fruit flavours.

Almost black in colour with a spicy herbal bouquet and tasting savoury and chocolaty with more of the herbal characters showing.
