JUDGE PROFILE

Winemaker at Redheads Wines, Barossa. He spent 15 years working as a hotel manager in Australia, the UK and America while also travelling through Europe. After coming home to Adelaide, Darren completed a degree in viticulture and oenology at Adelaide Uni. Previous experience at Nepenthe Wines, Haselgrove and Pernod Ricard winemakers. Has also vintaged in Bordeaux and along the west coast of America and British Columbia.

Sparkling and full-bodied white winemaker for Elderton Wines. Formerly at Pernod Ricard Wines. Has been a judge at the Royal Adelaide and associate judge at the Royal Melbourne, Canberra International Riesling Challenge and Barossa and Adelaide Hills wine shows.
