Great wine; complex and perfectly balanced with developed leathery/truffle like aromas and slightly overpowering/drying oak on the palate but has plenty of fruit to carry it. 5+

Intense concentration of cassis, chocolate, tapenade and cedar on the nose. Big earthy oaky palate with attractive sweet blue fruits still on show. Another 3-5 years left in it.

A mature, complex varietal that’s amazingly oaky. Has smoky/nutty aromas and soft sweet oak driven flavours with some aged fruit.

Aged leathery red licorice bouquet with an undercurrent of spices. Rich chocolaty palate with a range of spices, dusty tannins and a drying finish. Great food wine.

Cedar chest complexity to the nicely aged bouquet. Excellent, fruit flavoured, palate, very intense with plenty of drying oak to balance. Drinking well now.

More austere style of cabernet but well made and still showing plenty of lively sweet cassis fruit. Has toasty oak and chunky tannins.
