After being warned off accepting a position as winemaking and viticulture adviser to the WA wine industry back in 1972, Mike Zekulich is happy to report that renowned scientist, Tony Devitt, ignored the naysayers and did not only enter this arena, but thrived in it! Founder of Ashbrook Estate, Tony has been instrumental in bringing several high calibre conferences to WA, representing the wine industry on various development boards, lecturing and judging on the show circuit and being the award recipient of the Jack Mann Memorial Medal for his industry services.
