Winemaker at Redheads Wines, Barossa. He spent 15 years working as a hotel manager in Australia, the UK and America while also travelling through Europe. After coming home to Adelaide, Darren completed a degree in viticulture and oenology at Adelaide Uni. Previous experience at Nepenthe Wines, Haselgrove and Pernod Ricard winemakers. Has also vintaged in Bordeaux and along the west coast of America and British Columbia.

Formerly senior winemaker / brand ambassador for St Hallet Wines and still consults for the company. Over 30 years experience in winemaking. Has previously judged in the Adelaide wine show and Chair of the Barossa wine show.
