Senior Winemaker for The Wine Group Australia and owner/winemaker of Stephen John Wines. More than 30 years’ winemaking experience. Has judged at Adelaide, National, and Barossa wine shows. Regular Winestate panellist and chairman of judges at the Winestate Wine of the Year Awards.

Winemaker with Treasury Wine Estates (Wolf Blass). Previously worked in Adelaide Hills Cellar Door before winning Wolf Blass scholarship for a winemaking career. Has also vintaged in the Yarra Valley and Granite Belt.
